About
Treatments
We begin each treatment with an initial wet comb, which allows us to evaluate the case of head lice and discuss a treatment plan. The initial wet comb is how we check and treat head lice. For the guaranteed treatment we will see everyone who had head lice for a wrap treatment 5 days later.
Once you and your family has been initially wet combed by the Quicker Nit Pickers you will be ready to resume your normal activities without transferring head lice to your friends.
After Care
Once you have now been wet combed by Quicker Nit Pickers and are 95% lice free. The 5% that are remaining are any nits that were too small for the nit comb to remove, if you have elected to have the guaranteed treatment then your wrap up treatment will need to take place within the next 8 days. Remember nits hatch 10 days after they’re laid and we want to remove the remaining nits before they hatch. A nit cannot transfer from one head to another, after you have been wet combed you cannot spread head lice to anyone. A nit off the head cannot reattach or hatch (the nit needs your body temperature to incubate) .
